Location is perfect for exploring Ennis. Our Executive Room was equipped with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and hairdryer. Breakfast had a fabulous selection, including top-notch cereals and pastries. The staff was super helpful and even catered to our dietary needs. The bar served decent pub food with excellent service.

The location of Temple Gate Hotel is fantastic. Right in the heart of Ennis, it makes exploring the town easy. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding area. The staff at the front desk were friendly, greeting me immediately with a warm smile. The bar area had a great atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day out. I really enjoyed the food served at the hotel restaurant. the local dishes were delicious and flavorful. However, I did encounter several issues during my stay. The shower temperature fluctuated quite a bit, and it took a while to get used to it. I also noticed that the breakfast service lacked efficiency. One morning, the staff seemed overwhelmed, causing delays in food service. Additionally, some areas within the hotel could use a bit of maintenance, as the carpets looked worn and could benefit from a deep clean. On evenings, noise from the street was a bit distracting, but it wasn't unbearable. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service consistency and upkeep.

The Twin Room was decent but felt outdated for a 4-star place. It was clean, and the beds were okay, but definitely could use some updates. I appreciated the tea-making facilities, though. Overall, it just didn't feel as luxurious as I expected.

The hotel was conveniently located in the center of Ennis, making it easy to explore the area, including nearby historic sites. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, and the staff were welcoming, especially the receptionists who provided excellent service during my visit. The dining experience was enjoyable too, as I had dinner listening to traditional Irish music, which added a nice touch to my stay.

Ennis is a culinary gem, and the getaway was a treat! Dinner at the hotel's bar was a highlight, with delicious local dishes that warmed the soul. Also, the staff's attention to our needs made it feel like home. The lush breakfast spread had us raving—truly one of the best starts to a day we've had in ages!
Now, on the flip side, there were some misses. A bit of a corporate vibe lingered in the air, and our breakfast experience could have used a bit more attention. While the carpet might need a deep clean, it didn’t overshadow our time in charming Ennis.

The stay was highlighted by the friend's attention of staff, especially a wonderful woman at reception who ensured our needs were met, making us feel at home. The location is ideal for exploring, with easy access to transport options. However, room temperature management needs improvement, and the dining experience at times lacked attentive service. Despite these minor inconveniences, the comfortable beds and friendly staff make for a warm atmosphere, perfect for a getaway.
